POPOMOMO stands for post-postmodern movement. Instead of floating in relative perspectives and endlessly reworking the past, Popomomo focuses on the new and true; creating idea — as opposed to trend — based pieces.

Popomomo creates intellectually sexy pieces that never play catch up. The Popomomo woman is the type to wear heels while riding a bike, drink wine all night, and wax poetic on politics, philosophy, and popculture.

Popomomo is a sustainable line; which, to us, means:

• Using organic &/or sustainable fabrics for our entire line
• Designing, sampling and producing Popomomo locally in LA
• Using low impact dyes, washing and printing techniques
• Only producing pieces that are unique & new: not creating trend-driven waste
• Reducing our use of paper
• Shipping using recycled materials
• Powering our car by recycling waste veggie oil
• Always learning more about ways to decrease our environmental impact
