Some highlights from Coclico's eco-friendly practices include the use of vegetable tanned leathers whenever possible. When they do use chrome tanned leather, they work only with tanneries that adhere strictly to EU regulations for water quality maintenance, efficiency practices, and chemical sequestration. All wood components are sustainably harvested under Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification. Cork can be harvested to ensure that the tree is not injured. All cork components are FSC-certified. Shoes are manufactured in Spain.
