Made creates stunning designer accessories that are 100% fair-trade. They are sourced and hand-crafted within disadvantaged communities across East Africa. In doing this Made is able to radically improve the lives of people living in impoverished areas. Following the principles of fair-trade, Made trains local artisans in new skills, providing fair wages and support at all levels. Via this 'trade not aid' ethos, Made is helping to break the cycle of poverty and empower the people who make its products.

The soft, tan leather used to produce the bag is from Masaai cattle and is a bi-product of the food industry.
