Sublet Deborah Dress
Submitted by: Leigh
The Deborah dress is made from rescued silk from the garment district.
Materials incorporated into sublet's collections include organic cotton, bamboo, hemp, silk and surplus fabrics. From inception to production, all materials used are chosen to have the lowest impact on the environment possible. In an effort to support the local economy, sublet's garments are manufactured in the united states in factories that adhere to fair labor standards.
Ideologically, sublet believes that the basis of sustainability is in good design. Their simple, yet elegant pieces are meant to be worn season after season, to fit, to last and to be special to someone - taking their wearers through a lifetime of changing settings.
